DP019 1

The 86m DP019 is a new super yacht concept based on the reputable and highly regarded Oceanco hull platform, with an exterior design of the Milan-based Hot Lab studio.

Despite the yacht’s generous dimensions, her lines have been designed to express a visual sense of lightness, which is also underlined by darkened glazing clearly defining each deck level and giving a lengthening effect rather than heightening the profile.

A beach area has been developed around a swimming pool on the main deck with a cascade waterfall that spills over the end wall. The bulkhead that constitutes this wall is covered with teak panelling that flows into symmetrical staircases leading down to the swim platform.

The upper deck and owner’s deck are linked externally by bold arches that add an imposing graphic effect, while also tricking the eye into believing that two deck levels are in fact one and providing the 200sqm owner’s apartment with abundant natural light. A forward terrace leading off the owner’s deck can serve as an open-air gym. The 320sqm private sundeck features a whirlpool, sun loungers and two large skylights in the deck that illuminate the owner’s suite below.

The yacht will be powered by twin MTU 20V 4000 main engines. She is expected to achieve a top speed of 20 knots with a range of 5,500 nm at a cruising speed of 15 knots.

Oceanco’s new 90m motoryacht, Y717—with its modern revolutionary exterior styling by DeBasto Design and sophisticated interior design by Nuvolari Lenard— is unlike any other superyacht afloat today. Her groundbreaking design and technological advances bear the unmistakable DNA of an Oceanco: she reflects the latest advances in glass technology and she is the first yacht in the Netherlands to be given the official Lloyd’s Register Integrated Bridge System (IBS) notation and designation.

Black Pearl - 2018 1
Black Pearl - 2018 2

The three-masted sailing yacht Black Pearl is unlike any yacht the world has ever seen. This unique and complex vessel is the realization of a discerning Owner’s vision. She is the result of an elaborate and successful collaboration on the part of an international group of designers, engineers, naval architects, builders, and project managers. The designers Ken Freivokh Design, Nuvolari Lenard and Villate Design all played a significant role in Black Pearl’s design evolution. Dykstra Naval Architects designed Black Pearl’s three 70 meter (230ft) DynaRig carbon masts and sailing system. The sail area is subdivided into smaller lesser-loaded sails and they can be set or furled by pushing a button. Astonishingly, all 2,900 square meter of sails can be set in 7 minutes.BMT, Nigel Gee collaborated with Oceanco to create Black Pearl’s hybrid propulsion system as well as other onboard systems such as waste heat recovery.

Not only does she have a particularly striking exterior profile created by Lobanov Design, and a distinguished interior by Sorgiovanni Designs, but also she is the largest yacht ever built at Oceanco and has the distinction of being the largest yacht ever built in the Netherlands. Displacing over 4,500 Gross Tons, with 16.4m/54ft beam, this formidable yacht still manages to maintain a very noble and original profile from bow to stern. Her progressively longer horizontal blue lines make JUBILEE truly distinctive from all other yachts. Built to the Passenger Yacht Code, her Sam Sorgiovanni designed interior is both spacious and rich, offering accommodation for up to 30 guests in 15 staterooms including an entirely private owner’s deck.
