Bolidt, Esthec and Oceanco bring you The Yacht Design Getaway!
Today, 20 international designers will be welcomed in Rotterdam for an inspirational, educational and fun program. The event is about to kick off… and we encourage you to keep an eye out on our socials as well as those of SuperYacht Times as we will be sharing live footage throughout the days! Prepare for tours, inspirational speakers and workshops.
On the program:
Thursday 25 April | Informal dinner
The first day will kick off with an informal dinner at De Foodhallen to catch up with familiar faces and meet new ones.
Friday 26 April | Design Challenge
The next morning, the participants will experience a fast and scenic water transfer to Oceanco for a tour onboard Y722 and talk about the design challenges with the project team.
Then, it’s time for the design challenge: Reimagining the Classics. We believe that with the right designer, and the right yard, there does not have to be an end-of-life for a yacht. The best designs shall be featured on the Oceanco stand on this year’s Monaco Yacht Show. Along with inspiring speakers and a knowledgeable jury we will ensure a fun and energizing program.
Saturday 27 April | Kings Day
Per tradition, we will travel to Amsterdam to celebrate Kings Day onboard a sloop on the water.
