Our team wanted to create a handsome, powerful and confident design language to reflect the exterior design of Pegasus by Oceanco, although it could pair well with many of the Simply Custom yacht designs. We were inspired by Pegasus’s strength, elegance, soft edges and curves with simple lines. Our interior design embraces these characteristics with spaces that are practical, elegant and comfortable, while also expressing BURDIFILEK’s unique point of view.

The interior shapes and specific placement of furniture allow guests to continuously connect with the outdoors. Consistency rests on the intentionally limited number of materials and the color selection. Rich woods and textured stones create warmth and contrast, while a darker, opulent color palette exudes timeless luxury.

One special design highlight we created is on the beach club spa, where the underbelly of the lap pool on the main deck is exposed, allowing light to pass through and connect guests to the sky above. Everything here is about the art of living, relaxation and comfort within a timeless environment.

Designing a yacht’s interior is not unlike designing a custom residence; both take a lot of diligence and active listening to understand a client’s perspective, dreams and needs. One particularly important aspect is to respect the yacht’s overall design by creating uniqueness in form and spaces that will coexist well with the technical design. The interior should also allow the guests to be transported into a sphere of escapism.
