Oceanco Career Day
Alblasserdam, The Netherlands, Oceanco proudly welcomed more than 500 visitors to its first-ever Career Day, creating an inspiring platform for people of all ages, backgrounds and nationalities to explore career opportunities within the yachting and wider maritime industry.
Held at Oceanco’s facilities, the event brought together students, professionals, career changers and industry enthusiasts for six hours of engaging conversations, expert insights and behind-the-scenes perspectives on the world of custom yacht building.
The programme featured four panel discussions and three expert talks, offering attendees the opportunity to hear directly from industry leaders and specialists. Topics ranged from innovation and craftsmanship to career development and the future of maritime industries. The Forum sessions proved to be a particular highlight, generating strong audience engagement and sparking meaningful discussions throughout the day.
More than 90 professionals from Oceanco and partner companies were on site to share their experiences, showcase their expertise and provide visitors with valuable insights into the diverse career paths available across the sector.
What stood out most was the strong sense of collaboration and community that defined the event. The Oceanco Co-maker spirit was evident throughout the day, as colleagues, partners and visitors came together to exchange ideas, build connections and celebrate the people behind the industry.
