The 80m/262.47ft CONSTELLATION was constructed in tandem with a sistership, STARGATE, and was delivered in 1999. At the time of her launch, she was the largest yacht ever built in Holland, and she pushed Oceanco to new heights. With CONSTELLATION, Oceanco’s “A” Group set about achieving the owner’s requirement for a superyacht that provided superior seakeeping and stability and a 23.5-knot top speed. For the benefit of the owner and guests, the propulsion package goes beyond the outboard mechanics of the propeller system in efficiency and low sound and vibration levels. The two massive 8,160hp (6,090kW) MTU 20V 1163TB73L diesels are placed far aft and drive through two 15-ton Reintjes gearboxes especially designed for the project. By using a U-drive configuration, the engine room space is compressed and allows the main engines to be placed as far away as possible from the accommodation area.

The overall design style of the yacht’s interior was created by the A Group’s Jean-Pierre Fantini. The main salon is situated on the upper deck and laid out in a formal arrangement with six discussion areas. The dining salon has a 24-seat dining table that is divided into two sections to allow access through the center with integral serving stations.

With hand-woven decorative and sculptural carpets, a complement of large TVs and separate lounge area, the owner’s two private suites are magnificent. There are two adjacent twin cabins for immediate family. Guest accommodation on the lower deck consists of a large double VIP stateroom and a guest salon with four twin cabins amidships.

DreAMBoat - 2019 1

Oceanco’s new 90-meter superyacht Y716 DreAMBoat was successfully launched on 13 February 2019. Oceanco’s 90-meter DreAMBoat (Y716) is a first-time design collaboration between Espen Øino International and Terence Disdale Design.  At 2950GT, the volume allows for luxurious accommodation for up to 23 guests and a well thought- out crew’s quarters for a maximum of 33 crew members.

The generous overhangs from the superstructure and cut outs in the bulwarks lend a classic and strong appearance. The overall effect, is a yacht with clean uncluttered lines and a coherent design. The design emphasis is on large windows that flood the interior with daylight and offer unspoiled views from the inside out. Outside spaces feature a large swimming pool on the main aft deck, an enormous partially enclosed sundeck with Jacuzzi and copious options for seating/ entertaining. There is also a private Jacuzzi on the Owner’s deck. The interior design is sophisticated and serene with Disdale’s inimitable attention to detail. Nearly everything onboard from furniture to lighting is custom made.

Terence Disdale, has created an interior that  incorporates bespoke surfaces, natural wood, limestone floors, semi-precious stone vanities, parchment, leather and mother of pearl. The effect is chic without being overdone..

State- of- the- art technology prevails from all aspects. For instance, this yacht includes a complex IP ship’s computer operating system as well as full carbon canopy mast house and mast which forms an integral part of the overall design.

Oceanco’s new 90m motoryacht, Y717—with its modern revolutionary exterior styling by DeBasto Design and sophisticated interior design by Nuvolari Lenard— is unlike any other superyacht afloat today. Black Pearl - 2018 1
Black Pearl - 2018 2

The three-masted sailing yacht Black Pearl is unlike any yacht the world has ever seen. This unique and complex vessel is the realization of a discerning Owner’s vision. She is the result of an elaborate and successful collaboration on the part of an international group of designers, engineers, naval architects, builders, and project managers. The designers Ken Freivokh Design, Nuvolari Lenard and Villate Design all played a significant role in Black Pearl’s design evolution. Dykstra Naval Architects designed Black Pearl’s three 70 meter (230ft) DynaRig carbon masts and sailing system. The sail area is subdivided into smaller lesser-loaded sails and they can be set or furled by pushing a button. Astonishingly, all 2,900 square meter of sails can be set in 7 minutes.BMT, Nigel Gee collaborated with Oceanco to create Black Pearl’s hybrid propulsion system as well as other onboard systems such as waste heat recovery.
