Oceanco yachts are built with meticulous dedication to the vision of both the owner and designer. The benchmark of an Oceanco-built yacht is high-tech engineering and innovation, precise Dutch craftsmanship, and quality controls at every stage, down to the smallest detail.
Sam Sorgiovanni's approach to LEGEND is a novel one with a purposeful near plumb bow echoing the classic passenger liners of yore. Her hull is curvaceous with a rising sheer to the bow contrasting elegantly with vertically oriented and linear superstructure elements. The yacht blends greys with off white and accents of green glass and wood. The layout allows for accommodation of 4 owners and 16 guests served by 43 crew. The owner of this 110m superyacht will have an entire deck to himself while the whole main deck has been designated as a social and entertainment area. In addition to officer accommodation, the bridge deck features a helicopter storage area with a telescoping hanger. A fully HCA approved passenger helicopter landing and take-off pad is placed on the forward upper deck.
Oceanco’s 109m/357ft ‘Project Bravo’ was launched on 17 November 2018. Bravo is a prime example of Oceanco’s new wave of forward-thinking yachts. With her naval architecture by Lateral Naval Architects, exterior design and layout by Nuvolari Lenard and interior by Reymond Langton Design, Bravo is unlike any preceding Oceanco. She is the first Oceanco to utilize its innovative LIFE (Lengthened, Innovative, Fuel-efficient, Eco-friendly) design. LIFE revolves around intelligent naval architecture that leverages a number of fundamental principles, which create a harmonious balance between weight, power, technical areas and luxury interior on board.
Oceanco’s new 90m motoryacht, Y717—with its modern revolutionary exterior styling by DeBasto Design and sophisticated interior design by Nuvolari Lenard— is unlike any other superyacht afloat today. Her groundbreaking design and technological advances bear the unmistakable DNA of an Oceanco: she reflects the latest advances in glass technology and she is the first yacht in the Netherlands to be given the official Lloyd’s Register Integrated Bridge System (IBS) notation and designation.
The three-masted sailing yacht Black Pearl is unlike any yacht the world has ever seen. This unique and complex vessel is the realization of a discerning Owner’s vision. She is the result of an elaborate and successful collaboration on the part of an international group of designers, engineers, naval architects, builders, and project managers. The designers Ken Freivokh Design, Nuvolari Lenard and Villate Design all played a significant role in Black Pearl’s design evolution. Dykstra Naval Architects designed Black Pearl’s three 70 meter (230ft) DynaRig carbon masts and sailing system. The sail area is subdivided into smaller lesser-loaded sails and they can be set or furled by pushing a button. Astonishingly, all 2,900 square meter of sails can be set in 7 minutes.BMT, Nigel Gee collaborated with Oceanco to create Black Pearl’s hybrid propulsion system as well as other onboard systems such as waste heat recovery.
Not only does she have a particularly striking exterior profile created by Lobanov Design, and a distinguished interior by Sorgiovanni Designs, but also she is the largest yacht ever built at Oceanco and has the distinction of being the largest yacht ever built in the Netherlands. Displacing over 4,500 Gross Tons, with 16.4m/54ft beam, this formidable yacht still manages to maintain a very noble and original profile from bow to stern. Her progressively longer horizontal blue lines make JUBILEE truly distinctive from all other yachts. Built to the Passenger Yacht Code, her Sam Sorgiovanni designed interior is both spacious and rich, offering accommodation for up to 30 guests in 15 staterooms including an entirely private owner’s deck.
