The 95m / 312ft) INDIAN EMPRESS began life in 2000 as AL MIRQAB and was at the time of her launch and for more than 15 years thereafter, the largest Oceanco yet built and the largest yacht built in Holland. Oceanco’s “A” Group was responsible for both her naval architecture and her voluminous interior, which was overseen by Jean-Pierre Fantini. Her expansive main deck includes a reception area with several separate seating spaces, an office and waiting room and a study. Forward is a large formal dining room with a table that has a central opening and serving table that allows staff access to all the diners. The deck also houses six guest suites.

The owner’s deck above is accessed by a lift or a splendid marble stairway. The deck has a private suite to starboard with en suites finished in French marble, including the basins, bath and shower. Cabins for children and nannies are located in this area as well. Forward on the deck is the owner’s suite, which, in addition to a luxurious bed, has sitting and dressing rooms and a seating area with breathtaking views over the foredeck. The top deck has landing pad capable of handling large, twin-engine helicopters. Other amenities include a gymnasium, Elton John’s baby grand piano, an elevator from the lower deck to the bridge deck, a Jacuzzi dip pool, a fully equipped gym with sauna and steam room and two shower rooms, a beauty salon, a massage room and a full medical suite. She also has a garage large enough to accommodate two limousines.

Among the numerous “wow factors” on Indian Empress are her triple 10,000hp (7,463kW) MTU diesels. The package produces a top speed of 25.5 knots and a cruising speed of 18.

Oceanco’s new 90m motoryacht, Y717—with its modern revolutionary exterior styling by DeBasto Design and sophisticated interior design by Nuvolari Lenard— is unlike any other superyacht afloat today. Black Pearl - 2018 1
Black Pearl - 2018 2

The three-masted sailing yacht Black Pearl is unlike any yacht the world has ever seen. This unique and complex vessel is the realization of a discerning Owner’s vision. She is the result of an elaborate and successful collaboration on the part of an international group of designers, engineers, naval architects, builders, and project managers. The designers Ken Freivokh Design, Nuvolari Lenard and Villate Design all played a significant role in Black Pearl’s design evolution. Dykstra Naval Architects designed Black Pearl’s three 70 meter (230ft) DynaRig carbon masts and sailing system. The sail area is subdivided into smaller lesser-loaded sails and they can be set or furled by pushing a button. Astonishingly, all 2,900 square meter of sails can be set in 7 minutes.BMT, Nigel Gee collaborated with Oceanco to create Black Pearl’s hybrid propulsion system as well as other onboard systems such as waste heat recovery.

Not only does she have a particularly striking exterior profile created by Lobanov Design, and a distinguished interior by Sorgiovanni Designs, but also she is the largest yacht ever built at Oceanco and has the distinction of being the largest yacht ever built in the Netherlands. Displacing over 4,500 Gross Tons, with 16.4m/54ft beam, this formidable yacht still manages to maintain a very noble and original profile from bow to stern. Her progressively longer horizontal blue lines make JUBILEE truly distinctive from all other yachts. Built to the Passenger Yacht Code, her Sam Sorgiovanni designed interior is both spacious and rich, offering accommodation for up to 30 guests in 15 staterooms including an entirely private owner’s deck.
