Alfa G Wins at the 20th World Superyacht Awards in Venice Following 2024 Refit
Oceanco is proud to announce that Alfa G has won the prestigious Refitted Yachts – 500GT and Above award at the 20th annual World Superyacht Awards, held during an exclusive ceremony on 2–3 May in Venice, Italy.
Organised by Boat International, the World Superyacht Awards recognise the ingenuity, innovation, and craftsmanship behind the most exceptional yachts from around the globe. This year marked a major milestone—the 20th edition of the event—celebrating two decades of honouring excellence in yacht design and construction.
Originally delivered in 2004, Alfa G has undergone several transformations over the years. Most recently in 2024, Oceanco’s Life Cycle Support team led a major rebuild of the vessel. Alfa G’s win is a testament to this intensive 9-month transformation overseen by Oceanco. The project brought together Oceanco (exterior design), Alexandre Thiriat (interior), and G&K Yachting, whose expert execution ensured the yacht was delivered to the highest standards.
