SUNRAYS 85.5m

The Y705 85.50m (280.52ft) was successfully delivered on 9 March 2010 at Oceanco, Alblasserdam, The Netherlands.
This yacht has sleek and elegant lines designed by Bjorn Johansson with an overall impression of power and strength; her interior design and decoration is by Terence Disdale.

Bjorn Johansson conceived the yacht as a strong statement and its dagger lines and elegant, economic profile are all that. The hull of this 85.50m superyacht was painted in a spectacular new colour which was revealed at her launch. Stainless steel outfitting, installation of teak decks and glass fitting of the exterior, ming to the end. Wayne Parker of Terence Disdale Design describes Sunrays's interior as “a signature Disdale interior with a twist” due to its extensive use of natural and exotic materials. It contains vast possibilities to change uses varying from family boat to business meeting venue. Many spaces within may be opened or closed from each other, often using hidden sliding doors. The Captain of this outstanding yacht calls it “the most versatile interior I have seen – the ultimate guest and owner’s yacht.” Sunrays is indeed the ultimate statement Bjorn Johansson and the owner envisaged. With her striking topsides shimmering in the sun or at night, floating ethereally over her 56 underwater lights, she will surely turn many heads in her debut 2010 season.
